Almond-Chocolate Ice Cream

3 ½ oz Unsweetened chocolate

2 Eggs

1 c Milk

1 c Sugar

1 c Whipping Cream

1 Pinch of Salt

1 t Almond Extract

¾ c Sliced almonds (1/2 c. chopped) (1/4 c. sliced)

Melt chocolate in a double boiler. Whisk in the milk and stir until smooth. Remove from heat. Whisk together eggs, sugar, salt, almond extract. Now add the chocolate mixture and finally the whipping cream. Pour into ice cream maker and add ½ c. chopped nuts.

Follow directions on ice cream maker. Last five minutes add ¼ c. sliced nuts. Freeze 6 – 8 hours.
